As a Software Engineer in the Microsoft Leap program, I have been engaged in cutting-edge software development and engineering tasks, contributing to various Microsoft projects. My role involves: Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and implement high-impact solutions in Microsoft's dynamic environment. Utilizing advanced programming skills in C#, .NET, and Azure services to develop scalable and efficient software applications. Create applications using the ESRI suite software and analyze OSP line drawings. Enhance GIS operations by developing and administering web-based applications. Write and maintain reports, including database reports, forms, and queries. Prepare map layouts, draft designs, and produce As-builts using ArcGIS Pro. Manage GIS databases, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate for optimal functionality.
Graduated from the University of the West Indies with a bachelors of science degree in Electronics Engineering.
Completed the .NET Fullstack Bootcamp at Learners Academy, where I learned to develop end-to-end solutions using C#, ASP.NET, MSSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript,Bootstrap, and jQuery. Throughout the program, I gained expertise in front-end, database, and back-end systems development, which has contributed significantly to my growth as a software engineer. The curriculum was intensive and covered cutting-edge technologies, providing me with a strong foundation in building robust applications.
